Recaps

RECAPS (week of November 4 through November 8, 2002):

Alexis goes to see Luke after he demands to see her in the lockup. He wants her to leave the case alone and let him remain in custody. Alexis and Scott come to an agreement, he will drop the charges against Luke if Alexis drops out of the race. Alexis refuses to hand over the tape of Laura's confession to Scott. Luke then screams at Nikolas and then Lucky to tell Alexis not to use the tape. Nikolas talks to Alexis and begs her to suppress the evidence against his mother for Laura's sake and her family's as well. When Alexis refuses, Nikolas accuses her of only thinking about herself and her career. Lucky on the other hand tells her to move ahead with the evidence.

Alexis shows up at election headquarters, unbeknowst to Nikolas, Gia and all she announces that she is dropping out of the election due to health reasons. Alexis wants Scott to drop the charges against Luke but Scott refuses until he officially becomes the winner. Of course Ned shows up and comforts Alexis in Ned style. He tells her that he hopes her reasons were worth it, and that he hopes Luke knows what a good friend she is. He also reaffirms that he will be there for Sonny's baby. (He didn't say Sonny's baby but I feel the need to remind everyone).

When Luke finds out that he is free because Alexis made a deal with Scott he goes ballistic. He finds Alexis at election headquarters and proceeds to tell her how it was none of her business and she didn't know what he was feeling. (If I were Alexis I would have sent him back to jail and never looked back). She however, does remind him of his responsibility to his daughter (and I begin to wonder if she will remember the same about her baby and her baby's father, Sonny and let him be responsible). In the midst of all this Lucky shows up, he gets into it with his father and then of course Ned comes in again (oh what a surprise!)to comfort Alexis.

At the Halloween Ball, Alcazar tried to make deals with both Carly and Skye to help him get Brenda away from Sonny and Jax. He was successful with Skye as Carly decided to be truthful for once in her life, and tell Sonny about her talk with Alcazar. (guza will write anything to continue the redux of the S/B/J triangle?) Skye gets Brenda to show up at Club 101 where Alcazar and his men nab her. Skye runs to Jason who isn't home (how convenient) and ends up telling Sonny that Brenda was kidnapped by Alcazar. Sonny runs off (of course) to rescue Brenda, and Carly can't talk him into letting her go along (thank goodness). Of course she hides on the plane and shows up with Jason anyway. Sonny gets to Brenda and he and Alcazar trade words. Alcazar ends up flying the plane to take them away and the plane crashes. Sonny and Brenda are alive but where is Alcazar? We know he's alive and Brenda suspects he is but they don't know for sure.
