RECAPS (week of March 17 through March 21, 2003):
After Benny’s death the argument between Jason and Sonny continues, with Carly (aka the one who encouraged Jason and Courtney to go behind Sonny’s back in the first place) trying to get them to show some respect for Benny. Jason will not end his relationship with Courtney. Afterward Carly worries about Sonny because he isn’t sleeping but he tells her to concentrate on their baby.
CAMEO APPEARANCE BY SONNY'S FATHER MIKE BUT NO SONNY AND ALEXIS SCENES AND
Alexis is found not guilty by reason of temporary insanity 
and Scott is completely disgusted. Further Alexis is denied the right to see Baby Kristina for six months, without even supervised visitation until she finishes outpatient treatment for her “illness”. The Great Doctor 
argues in her behalf but the judge will not change her decision. In addition, full custody of the baby is awarded to good ol’ Ned Ashton aka The Quartermaines. Alexis begs for a chance to say goodbye to her baby and Ned brings the baby to her. Court is adjourned and Edward promises Alexis that her baby will be taken care of. Dara tells Alexis that they’re not finished yet. The All-Knowing Psychiatrist apologizes to Alexis for her losing her baby.
Alexis begins to research cases similar to hers and finds one where a woman was granted custody of her child within three months rather than the six that the judge told Alexis to wait. Dr. No-Way suggests that she slow down. Jax visits Alexis and she comes up with the brilliant plan for he and Ned to go into a business venture together, hiring her as their attorney so that she can see Baby Kristina on the quiet. Jax doesn’t think that it’s a good idea since Alexis has that alternate personality and all.
At Benny’s service, Sonny comforts his widow. Jason shows up and Sonny tells him how much Michael misses him. Jason says that he’ll come see Michael the next day and Sonny suggests that he doesn’t have to be there when Jason comes. Sonny convinces Ric to leave.
Alexis goes to the gatehouse and Ned will not allow her to see her own baby. He doesn’t want to break the law (?). He throws Alexis out and tells her never to come back. She collapses to the ground outside the door and the Stalker Shrink appears out of nowhere (as usual) to comfort her 
.
Sonny stays behind and talks to Benny’s coffin, remembering how much Benny did for him and apologizing for getting him killed. He tells Benny about a dream that he had and wonders if it was a message from Benny, warning him not to kill Jason the same way.
Benny’s replacement Greg tells Carly that Sonny’s being doubted because of the way he’s been handling his business lately 
. Sonny overhears and warns Greg never to talk to Carly about his business. He also demands to know who it is that doubts his abilities. When Greg leaves and Ric shows up, Sonny reveals that he has called a meeting of The Five Families. Ric offers to attend for him and Sonny tells him that he will be attending this meeting himself but tells Ric to hang around just in case anything legal needs to be handled.
Carly rushes home to tell Sonny the truth about what happened with Ric and finds Ric there with Sonny. Sonny takes off before she can tell him.
Sonny comes in on Faith telling The Five Families that he should be removed. He calls her a cheap whore and tells her that she is out in the street unless someone else wants to pay for her services. Then he warns everyone present that he is very much in control and that it would be a mistake to think otherwise.
Sonny returns home and finds Ric there. He asks whether or not Carly is around and when he is told that she isn’t, he takes out a gun and tells Ric that he can prove himself at long last by killing Faith.
NO, SONNY STILL DOESN'T KNOW ABOUT THEIR BABY DAUGHTER!!
